Why is the website named TwoTimTwo?
The founders of Awana derived the Awana name from the first letters of “Approved workmen are not ashamed” as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 of the Bible.
Why does my church need TwoTimTwo?
TwoTimTwo saves time. There is a lot of record-keeping for an Awana club. TwoTimTwo helps to greatly reduce the record-keeping burden. The site also allows multiple people to work on the data at one time.
Why did you create TwoTimTwo?
Our church had a large Awana club of 300-400 clubbers. My friend told me his wife was spending hours every night doing record keeping for the club & wondered if there was anything I could do to help. We created an initial user friendly version that included recording checkins & completed sections – and the site automatically calculated awards & bucks. My friend’s wife immediately was able to complete her record keeping duties by the end of each week’s club night.
